Believe it or not, Industrial Floor Scales are still being built in the United States of America.  The Salter floor scale factory in Fairmont, Minnesota has been producing quality platform scales since the early 1970's.  Why is this important?  Many of the import floor scales that flood the market these days don't have the quality or consistency of the Salter.
